RECEIVE SALVATION

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?

God loves you and offers His wonderful plan for your life. He desires for you to receive salvation and that no one is kept from Him. His arms are open to all who accept his invitation.

"God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16

THE PROBLEM OF SIN

The problem is that people choose to go their own way, violate God's instructions and are therefore separated from God.

"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

There is a great price for our sin, eternal separation from God.

"The wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23

THE GOOD NEWS

The good news is that God provided the answer through Jesus. When He died in our place he paid that price for our sin that we could not. He made the way for us to receive salvation.

"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Jesus, our perfect sacrifice, did not stay down. He was resurrected to life.

"Christ died for our sins. He was buried and was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures... He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to to more than 500 people." 1 Corinthians 15:3-6

He is our only way to God.

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through me." John 14:6

We must decide to receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. When we take this step, He adopts us into His family.

"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name." John 1:12

RECEIVE SALVATION

We receive salvation in Christ through repentance and faith. This means turning away from sinful ways (repentance) and turning to God (faith), trusting in Christ. Jesus will forgive your sins and set you on a path to life with Him. We cannot earn this right, it is His free gift.

"By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

If you would like to invite Jesus into your life, to receive his freedom and forgiveness, you can do so any time. Begin to talk to Him. There are no perfect words to say, He knows your heart and is listening.
