The centre of who we are and what we do is faith, hope and love. It’s super simple… We have faith in a God who is close to us, always. We have hope that no matter how messed up things get, our God will work everything out for good. And we have a love that comes from God, enabling us to love each other as a community.

Our goal is to support people from all walks of life to grow deeper in their relationship with God. Our services are Bible-based and Holy Spirit empowered with dynamic messages and powerful worship.

We hope that you will find life, community and friendship at C3 Hawke's Bay. We meet every day of the week at Church services, dinner parties, connect groups, prayer meetings, life courses and outreaches across Hawke's Bay.

OUR PASTORS

The Executive Pastors of C3 Church Hawkes Bay, Jonathan and Rachel Strong, have a love for Christ, the church and the community. They have been based in Hawkes Bay since 2005, have four boys, and are Directors of their own business, which they began in 2007. C3 Hawkes Bay has come out of the desire for a local church, which impacts its community through its works and provides a hub from which to have an impact. We believe in the local church being compassionate, generous and a place of worship with relevant biblical teaching for everyone.

What we Believe

There is one God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God; we believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His victorious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His constant intercession and in His imminent return.
In the person and work of the Holy Spirit with His fruits and gifts available in the Church.
The Bible is the living word of God. It is infallible, authoritative and everlasting and is the foundation of all Christian doctrine.
In the existence of an evil spiritual being known as the devil.
In the spiritually lost condition of all people and the essential need for the new birth by faith in Jesus Christ.
In the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a gift available to believers subsequent to the new birth, with normal evidence of speaking in other tongues.
In the sacraments of the Lords Supper and baptism by full immersion in water for all believers.
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting separation from God.
In the church being the body of Christ, and each member being an active part of a local church, fulfilling the Great Commission.
Marriage was instituted by God, ratified by Jesus, and is exclusively between a man and a woman. It is a picture of Christ and his church.
Sex is a gift from God for procreation and unity, and it is only appropriate within and designed for marriage.
